The Post Office and Shop
The Post Office is open 6 days per week. The shop is open 7 days per week and is of a convenience type providing everything from lottery, newspapers, wines and spirits, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh butcher meats, fresh bakery products, deli produce, rental dvds, various grocery products to all household goods.
In the past few months the shop has undergone a refit with a new eco-friendly remote open refrigeration unit replacing the individual integrated units.
The shop interior display has been redesigned to make shopping more customer orientated and accessible, but with sympathy to the lovely paned glass window and door to the shop.
A traditional awning with the shop name has been fitted to the front and traditional A-boards advertise the new produce and product lines now available in the shop.
Extended Variety.
The shop now stocks butcher meat, pies and produce from the AWARD winning local butchers of the neighbouring villages. The new refrigeration display has allowed a 4 fold increase in the quantity of fresh fruit and vegetables to be retailed. The quality being guaranteed by the new refrigeration system.
It is now possible to purchase fresh all the ingredients to provide a healthy cooked 3 course dinner without opening a tin or frozen packet.
A fine wine and connoisseur beer section have been added to the well stocked wines and beer section.
Carol conducts wine, cheese and other product tasting every Saturday afternoon.

Mon-Sat 07.15-19.00
Sun 08.00-13.00
